Dan Snow in New Zealand with Audley

Dan Snow meets Hone Mihaka
As part of our prize for winning ‘Supreme Operator of the Year’ from Tourism New Zealand, we were invited to host a trip to New Zealand for historian and TV presenter Dan Snow. Dan visited New Zealand in January 2009 and as a first-time visitor to the country our specialists wanted to ensure they included a number of activities and variety of scenery for him to enjoy.
From learing about Maori culture in Northland to following in the footsteps of Sir Edmund Hillary in Mount Cook National Park, Dan’s trip was jam-packed with exciting things to do and experience.
This week I have added a feature to the Audley website about Dan’s trip. ‘Dan Snow Visits New Zealand‘ includes details on how our specialist’s organised Dan’s trip, an interactive map that highlights just a few of the experiences Dan took part in, five short video clips filmed during Dan’s trip and a sample itinerary. This was a really interesting feature to build and one that I enjoyed a lot – I hope you feel the same once you have a read through!
Visit our New Zealand section on the website to learn more about tailor-made travel to the country.
