The 2010 BBQ season is upon us!

The BBQ season has begun at Audley

Friday 9th April 2010 will be remembered at Audley for one reason: the first BBQ of the year!

Careful not to be outdone by the other departments, Martin Walker from our Marketing team was hot on the case when he heard the weather report yesterday. With the promise of a sunny afternoon and the possibility of temperatures reaching a very pleasant 16 degrees celsius, the invitations were sent out, food purchased and BBQ booked.

The anticipation was almost too much for the remaining Upper West Wingers to bear this morning as we waited for Martin and his compatriots to fire up the BBQ, but the smell that wafted through the office about 12:30 confirmed that Martin had, indeed, made a very good call, and we all headed out to the benches by the river to enjoy a few burgers, hot dogs and token salad for those hoping to remain at least a little healthy!

Here’s hoping the rest of the year brings us more pleasant days in order for us to take advantage of the BBQ again…..
