Audley raises money in support of “Movember”

Audley raises money in support of Movember
Visitors to our offices in Oxfordshire over the past few weeks may have noticed a strange new trend emerging throughout the male members of staff.
You’d be forgiven for thinking that the moustache had become the latest fashion craze at Audley HQ, but the real reason is down to the “Movember” charity fundraising event, which sees thousands of men around the world grow moustaches throughout the month of November to raise money in support of The Prostate Cancer Charity (TPCC).
The rules are simple: participants must not shave their top lips throughout the month of November, and it’s moustaches (or Mo’s) only – no goatees, beards or sideburns.
So far the level of participation has been impressive, and a handful of moustaches have stolen the limelight for their commendable style and size (photos will be posted on the blog next week).
Thanks to a great effort from the gentlemen involved and the partners, family and friends supporting them, we’ve raised an impressive £269 already, and we still have 11 days left to go.
The most common cancer in men, prostate cancer is diagnosed in 36,000 individuals each year. The Prostate Cancer Charity works to develop new diagnosis methods and improve care for cancer sufferers, but it relies on donations from organisations and the general public in order to continue developing its research.
If you would like to contribute and help support a very worthy cause, you can visit our Movember team page and make a donation – click here to find out more.
