Toronto’s latest attraction opens to the public
Thrill seeking visitors to Toronto in Canada will be falling over themselves to take part in the city’s newest and most exhilarating attraction.
EdgeWalk, which opened at the beginning of August, offers willing participants the opportunity to walk around the top of the CN Tower on a ledge that is only 5ft wide, and with just the support of an overhead safety rail and harness. Sitting at 1168ft (116 storeys) above the ground it is the world’s highest full circle hands-free walk.
And if you are brave enough to give this attraction a go, it’s probably quite a relief to hear the organisers will not let the event operate during high winds and electrical storms, so your only worry will be where to put your hands when you are leaning precariously over the edge of Toronto’s highest building! Try not to cover your eyes, it might spoil the view!
