Last week was the launch of our ‘new look’ Traveller magazine. Two hundred cakes were ordered to mark the event, happily consumed by lots of hungry Audley staff keen to grab their copies of the Spring 2012 Traveller magazine.
The ‘new look’ magazine has more content from our clients, with a new section called ‘Over to you’. It includes the extended feature ‘Travellers’ Tales’ which is dedicated to client travel stories, as well as a Q & A section, our new photo competition and interviews with people in the travel industry.
The magazine has also had a complete redesign, giving it a fresher look, but with an emphasis on striking photography as before – something which our clients have said they love.
There are also some new features - the ’10 questions for’ interview page, ‘Experts’ guide to’ (currently Southeast Asia), and a ‘Books etc page’ (film/books/tv reviews).
However, there are still some of the old Traveller favourites such as ‘Digital dispatches’, ‘In the City’, and ‘Perfect Trip’. Most importantly though, our whole magazine is still written by our specialists (apart from the odd journalist feature such as John Gimlette’s Jordan piece in the latest edition.)
So although the magazine has had a facelift, it is still our specialists’ passion for the countries they are writing about which we think makes it special! Highlights in our latest edition include wildlife holidays in Namibia, family holidays in Jordan and a guide to Southeast Asia.
